1、 Technical characteristics and structural design of steam conveying hose
The steam conveying hose adopts a multi-layer composite structure, consisting of an inner rubber layer, a reinforcement layer, and an outer rubber layer. The inner rubber layer is usually made of EPDM rubber or silicone material with excellent heat resistance, which can withstand high temperature environments from 165 ℃ to 180 ℃, and has resistance to steam penetration and chemical corrosion. The reinforcement layer is supported under pressure through high-strength steel wire weaving or winding technology. The single-layer steel wire weaving structure can withstand a pressure of 1.0 MPa, while the double-layer structure can expand the pressure range to 2.0 MPa. The outer rubber layer adopts a wear-resistant rubber formula and adds a water bag wrapping process to make the pipe body resistant to ozone and ultraviolet aging. Typical specifications range from an inner diameter of 13mm to 102mm, and the length can be customized to over 20 meters according to requirements.
In terms of structural design, the steel wire braided steam hose adopts a balanced angle weaving process of 54 ° 44 ', which makes the pipe body both flexible and blast resistant. Experimental data shows that the blasting pressure can reach more than 4 times the working pressure. For ultra-high temperature conditions, some products use PTFE lining to increase the temperature resistance range to 200 ℃. In special application scenarios, the sandwich steam hose is embedded with a glass fiber reinforcement layer to maintain good flexibility while withstanding high-pressure steam.
2、 Application scenarios of high-pressure steel wire steam hose
1. Industrial thermal system
In chemical production, steam hoses need to handle the transportation of highly corrosive media. In the field of food processing, rubber hoses must comply with food grade hygiene standards. A dairy factory uses red EPDM rubber hoses to transport 180 ℃ hot water, which has been certified by a third-party testing agency and its dissolved substance content meets the GB 4806.11-2016 standard.
2. Power equipment matching
In ship power systems, steam hoses need to withstand high-frequency vibrations and temperature shocks. In the boiler system of the power plant, the rubber hose needs to cope with 3.0MPa high-pressure steam. The rubber hose product with a four layer steel wire winding structure has a measured burst pressure of 12.0MPa.
3、 Selection and maintenance points
1. Parameter matching principle
Temperature adaptation: When transporting steam above 200 ℃, silicone or PTFE lined products should be selected; EPDM rubber can be used for working conditions below 150 ℃.
Pressure rating: The working pressure of the system should be lower than 80% of the nominal pressure of the hose. For example, for a hose with a nominal pressure of 2.0MPa, the actual operating pressure should not exceed 1.6MPa.
2. Installation and maintenance specifications
Bending radius: The minimum bending radius of DN25 rubber hose shall not be less than 250mm, otherwise it may cause fatigue fracture of the steel wire layer.
Joint connection: It is recommended to use clamp or flange connection. The crimping joint should ensure that the stripping length meets the standard to avoid damaging the reinforcement layer.
Regular testing: Conduct a water pressure test every 3 months, with a test pressure of 1.5 times the working pressure; Perform ultrasonic testing every 6 months to check the corrosion of the steel wire layer.
